This role sits within Business Banking (BB) Technology, providing technology solutions to Business Banking domains across Business Banking and CommSec. Within BB Technology, the Digital Domain focuses on technology enablement of digital engagement channels and covers the teams that support BB Digital and CommBank Smart Health, contributing to strategic BB and Customer NPS +30 outcomes.
Your Role and Contribution
The primary purpose of your role is Service Governance, Production Support, Reporting and enabling DevSecOps operating model. You will work across multiple service disciplines to ensure the continued availability, safety and reliability of the service.
Through effective vendor and internal business partnering, you will own the end-to-end ITSM within the ITIL best practice framework, including but not limited to; change management, service monitoring and reporting (both internal and regulatory), production support, post incident review and lifecycle management. To achieve this, tasks may include.
Planning for and managing the services environment to ensure reliability and consistency
Enable transition to DevSecOps operating model
Are confident in leveraging their Service Management/ Systems engineering skills including automate CICD pipelines for release management
Identifying and mitigating issues and risks that may impact portfolio of services
Collaborating with stakeholders to define and communicate change roadmaps, delivery expectations and performance
Monitoring and reporting on service delivery metrics; overall performance and effectiveness against SLAs and KPI’s.
Undertaking and owning service maturity initiatives to effectively manage IT services, from development, offering, enhancement, and retirement.
What You'll Bring
IT Service Management or Service Delivery experience in complex, high availability environments.
Experienced in alerts, monitoring, hardware patching and vulnerability management
Knowledge of Incident and problem management
Have solid hands one experience in vulnerability management, hardware patching and release management.
A strong understanding of service management & operational disciplines e.g. ITIL
Exposure to Agile environments and the Scrum methodology
Risk and Audit management and fulfilment experience
Production support experience to resolve production issues
Experience in AWS services including Infrastructure as a code using Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience in automating CICD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub
Automation of release process through CI/CD pipelines
Experience in using ServiceNow is desired
