Has full accountability and responsible for directing all environmental services operations. Member of the hospital leadership team and responsible for the direct supervision of the ES leadership group and hourly staff. Develops people to provide exceptional service and a safe environment while maximizing financial outcomes. Develops plans to achieve set financial customer satisfaction and employee retention goals. Ensures adherence of departmental policies and procedures addressing clean and safe environments regulatory requirements emergency management personnel performance product safety and inventory control. Oversees staff selection orientation training proper work assignments and scheduling of staff. Can respond to change and alter plans as needed. Presents updates to plans and provides explanations and solutions to variances. Provides leadership and demonstrates behaviors that are consistent with our mission vision core values and code of conduct.
