Job Description:
SCOPE: The Director of Philanthropy Operations provides strategic leadership for all operational infrastructure supporting philanthropy while ensuring exceptional donor experiences at every touchpoint. This mission-critical role is designed for a visionary professional who thrives on translating complex data into actionable strategy, cultivating a culture of innovation and accountability and achieving operational excellence. This role transforms data into strategic advantage, ensures gift processing excellence, and optimizes systems holistically that enable fundraisers to focus on donor relationships. A successful team member is a systems thinker who casts vision for the Donor Services team and works collaboratively to support the mission of Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required: Advanced degree or CFRE preferred.
2. Minimum of 7 years in nonprofit philanthropy operations, donor services, stewardship or database management.
3. Experience supervising staff and managing cross-functional teams required. 4. Background in analytics, process improvement, project management, frontline fundraising or systems implementation strongly preferred.
