Job Summary

Job Description

The ideal Sales manager will be responsible for securing medium to larger vertical market opportunities.  Developing proposals for using broadband products to win new customers to position us against competitors. This position will be responsible for developing customer relationships to manage sales opportunities and providing appropriate reporting and forecasting. The sales manager would also be a liaison to new customers, possibly working with related business units within NIDEC Corp.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Establish and concur with all Nidec Business Units and clients as to the overall strategy relating to a particular client organization’s risk management.
  • Communicate effectively with all Nidec Business Units to ensure our strategies will fulfill the needs of the client on a basis and offer the broadest terms available in their respective markets, and tailored to the individual client
  • Establish themselves as a self-starting leader within an account team and take ownership of the success of a portion of those client relationships, requiring minimal daily oversight
  • Reporting to Nidec’s sales organization and/or other related

organizations with sufficient information in a timely manner, as well as work with the related organizations to solve issues and address the opportunities to expand business.

  • Coordinate collection of any necessary exposure and loss data
  • Communicate and compare the quoted results for discussion with the client to be able to bind coverage
  • Communicate the final terms with colleagues in the US as well as overseas to enable their support in terms of documentation and premium cash flow

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 2 - 4 years of related experience
  • Analytical thinker, highly collaborative and able to deliver under required deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to execute complex projects and transactions
  • Strong oral & written presentation skills and the ability to clearly articulate complex messages
  • Strong and deep network relationships
  • Proven strong negotiation skills
