As a result of an internal secondment, we are on the hunt for a data savvy People Insights Specialist . This role will initially report to the General Manager, Organisational Solutions and will focus on providing effective metrics and insights to enable operational and business effectiveness, helping to deliver overall growth, efficiencies and improved people experience.
What will you be doing?
Strategy and Capability: Acting as the SME for people metrics, analytics and insights, providing input, advice and support for both operational and business-facing teams in the People and Capability function. Assisting in the development of people analytics capability, data literacy and data-led decisioning in the P&C team and across our diverse organisation.
Metrics and Analytics: Use statistical techniques to segment data, identify trends and forecast into the future, study global and industry benchmarks to diagnose people issues, analyse data from multiple sources, translate into insights and effectively present it to partners and leaders across the business
Report and Dashboard Development : Work closely with People Partners and other leaders to collect requirements on people analytics. Develop reports and dashboards in ‘Workday’ and other platforms like Power BI to meet these requirements. Support stakeholders in analysing past performance, predicting future performance and co-creating recommendations with People Partners.
Stakeholder engagement and relationship management: Manage relationships ‘within and outside’ the People & Culture team to understand business priorities and focus on opportunities to improve analytics and insight reporting. Drive engagement, collaboration, and teamwork to continuously enhance the way we work with people data across all areas.
What are we looking for in you?
Demonstrated knowledge of the People/ Human Resources function, processes, data and metrics
Applied knowledge of statistical concepts, tools and techniques
Advanced skills in Excel, BI reporting and visualisation tools
Working knowledge of Workday Reporting is desirable
Advanced analysis, problem solving and investigation skills.
Ability to consolidate and study data from multiple sources to diagnose patterns and trends
Ability to translate data into insights and tell a story that can help inform decisions
Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
