Job Description

Set up, adjust, and operates machine tools for multiple types of machine shop equipment. Work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to dimensions. May communicate directly with engineers to understand the purpose of a part assembly. Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances. May identify and repair minor machine malfunctions.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, degreasing)
• Apply paint coatings following the technical documentation
• Quality control of completed work
• Follow occupational health and safety regulations in the workplace
• Collaboration with the production team and the quality department

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• 2+ years of experience as an industrial painter or in the manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of painting techniques and materials
• Work with technical documentation
• Accuracy, conscientiousness, and responsibility
• Willingness to work in a shift system

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Experience working with electrical or mechanical components
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
