At Adient, we are proud to offer hybrid working to our employees, which involves being able to work remotely for up to 3 days per week based on the agreement within specific department.
What will your responsibilities be?
Daily operational support with import and export customs operations in EMEA countries – it can include also creation of instructions for the import and export customs clearance
Application of the customs classification, origin determination and customs valuation rules during the customs clearance – basic level of knowledge is required
Communication with Adient plants, forwarders and the customs brokers (in English) in order to obtain the data necessary for the customs clearance or verify its correctness
Working with Adient customs systems – after training
Looking for the data in SAP and the other internal/external databases
Preparation of various types of the statements based on requests from the customs authorities – under supervision
Verification and correction of the customs declarations
Which qualifications are we looking for in potential employees?
Experience with the customs compliance is advantage – especially creation of the customs declarations and application of the customs classification, origin determination and customs valuation rules
Knowledge of the basic structure of the customs processes is required (import, export, transit)
English: Intermediate level (B2)
German language will be the advantage
Any other language is more than welcome
Excel skills: Intermediate level
SAP experience is an advantage
IT affinity is very welcomed
Good communication skills
Flexibility in working hours
Team player and capable to provide individual support when needed
Open to learn the new things

Base monthly salary starting from 1550 EUR gross. Our salary is fair and competitive and can be higher than the starting minimum in the advert
