Job Description:

Job Summary

The General Compliance Intern supports the Sun Life Indonesia compliance team in preparing and managing compliance processes. This role provides hands-on experience in regulatory compliance, internal controls, and audit documentation while supporting the team's compliance objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track new or amended regulations issued by regulators and government authorities.
  • Conduct regulatory research and prepare summaries of key regulatory developments
  • Assist in performing preliminary impact assessments of new regulatory requirements.
  • Support the maintenance of the regulatory inventory and regulatory update tracker.
  • Organize and maintain compliance records and supporting documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of Bachelor's degree program in Law, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English proficiency required)
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail abilities
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Available to start immediately

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Indonesian financial services or insurance regulations
  • Previous internship or work experience in compliance, audit, or risk
  • Familiarity with compliance management tools
  • Bilingual capabilities (Indonesian and English)
  • Basic understanding of internal controls
