Material planning function:

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production
• Take follow up actions in relation to material shortages that affect production plan
• Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals and timelines
• Ensure purchase requisition release per LT
• Review material readiness and provide commit thru Clear-To-Build
• Utilize any Material Requirements Planning system (MRP) or system that is in place and ensure that data is accurate and up to date and resolve any issues as required
• Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels
• Other assignment given by supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or a related position.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and material management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Assertive, optimistic, resilient and welcomes change
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Proactively contributes to the team
• Familiar with Oracle is a plus
