Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of network infrastructures and resolving any technical problems that may arise. Your expertise in troubleshooting and problem-solving will be essential in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our applications and cloud support services. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve application and network infrastructure issues. - Monitor and analyze system performance to identify and address any bottlenecks or inefficiencies. - Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, ensuring timely resolution of their issues. - Develop and maintain documentation for troubleshooting procedures and best practices. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the application support process. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Network Infrastructures. - Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. - Experience with network monitoring tools such as Wireshark or SolarWinds. - Knowledge of firewall configurations and security protocols. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with ITIL framework. - Experience in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell. - Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Network Infrastructures. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
