Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Insurance Account Coordinator to support our Account Managers in managing client insurance programs. This role plays a critical part in driving business retention, enhancing client experience, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of insurance and reinsurance contract processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review client insurance program information and assist in drafting insurance and reinsurance contracts.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers to support business growth, client retention, and seamless proposal and renewal processes.
  • Review claims, contracts, and audits; follow up on endorsements, policy issuance, extensions, and cancellations; escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Monitor the renewal cycle by ensuring completion of renewal protocols, gathering necessary information, tracking quotes, and ensuring timely issuance of documents in line with professional standards.
  • Maintain accurate records for reporting and audit purposes; process insurance and claims data into internal databases.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, client teams, and producers to deliver best-in-class service and support growth initiatives.
  • Respond to straightforward and moderately complex client inquiries, escalating to Account Managers when necessary.
  • Ensure all client information is collected, reviewed, updated, and communicated effectively to the placement team to optimize program solutions and pricing.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in insurance account coordination, client services, or related roles within insurance or reinsurance environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with insurance databases and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining professional standards.
