Job Description

As an Insurance Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing insurance data, evaluating risk, and working with the Director of Insurance and Global Insurance Lead developing strategies to minimize costs and maximize coverage. You will work closely with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other insurance professionals to ensure optimal policy management. Additionally, you will assist with claims, policy management, and the preparation of insurance documentation.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;

  • Collaborate with claims adjusters and finance to review claims, analyze financial impacts, and follow up on invoicing and payments.
  • Collecting and analyzing insurance data to identify trends and prepare detailed reports for management.
  • Conducting regular policy reviews for compliance with negotiated terms
  • Preparing and updating insurance manuals and procedures, posting them on the company intranet.
  • Compiling and preparing annual insurance renewal information and maintaining a global policy inventory.
  • Providing guidance and support to internal clients, addressing inquiries, and conducting meetings to discuss risk assessments.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE;

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Insurance Analyst or similar role in the insurance industry.
  • Working towards a CRM designation would be an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience with other risk management tools would be a bonus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
