Job Description

The HR Product team is hiring a Varicent ICM (Incentive Compensation Management) Product Consultant. We are looking for someone with a flexible and nimble working style to join our Agile delivery team focused on calculating incentive compensation within Varicent ICM. As a Product Consultant supporting multiple incentive compensation plans, you should be comfortable shifting quickly to new priorities and delivering outcomes based on business needs. This position requires strong technical/functional expertise and an eagerness to design, troubleshoot, and continually assess and enhance our product solutions. A strong desire for learning and an appetite for new technology within the HR ecosystem, will make you successful in this position. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Understand incentive compensation plan rules and formulas
  • Triage production issues, respond to data requests, and provide general support for Incentive Administration stakeholders
  • Work within an agile team to deliver enhancements, defect resolution, and annual incentive compensation plan changes
  • Write user stories, coordinate testing, and provide communication regarding production releases
  • Collaborate with Scrum Master, Product Manager, Technology partners, and Incentive Administration stakeholders

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 3 - 5 or more years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Working knowledge of Varicent ICM
  • Working knowledge of incentive/compensation functions of HR
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR business processes and the technology platforms used to support, including web and mobile capabilities 
  • Proficient analysis and research skills, i.e., ability to support complex system features, incidents, and future product state with the purpose of maintaining and improving delivery of services 
  • Experience as an Agile team member, i.e., experience participating in design, sizing, configuration, testing, release, and deploy lifecycle, as well as supporting iterative configuration and engaging stakeholders as needed 
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, ability to lead meetings re: technical/functional design, demo, and feedback sessions 
  • Ability to understand and translate business needs into stories and journeys 
  • Experience in designing/building and interpreting data in reports/dashboards and analytic tools 
  • Thorough understanding of analytics, with the ability to transform findings into recommendations that improve user experience, procedures, technical capabilities, and the delivery of operational efficiencies 
  • General knowledge, understanding, and experience with governance and compliance obligations (Data Security, HR Regulations, EEO, GDPR, Data Privacy, Information Security), etc. 
  • Thorough knowledge of technology desktop software and tools, industry trends and key enterprise software capabilities

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $90,100.00 - $106,000.00 - $116,600.00
