What success looks like in this role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development with extensive experience in Java and related technologies, as well as a solid understanding of modern development practices and frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.

• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs.

• Participate in the architecture and design of microservices-based systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Ensure application security through best practices, audits, and secure coding.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following development best practices.

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated builds, tests, and deployments.

• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

• Contribute to testing and automation strategies to ensure software quality.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years in technologies relevant to the project.

• BA/BS degree and 5-7 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience

• Strong experience in Java development and Spring Boot.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best practices.

• Experience in RESTful API design and implementation.

Working knowledge of:

• Docker, Redis, MongoDB, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Jenkins

• Version control systems (Git, GitLab)

• Any TypeScript-based framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular)

• Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), Java concurrency (asynchronous/synchronous), Javadoc, Java profiler

• Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch)

• Microservices architecture

• Cloud: (AWS/Azure)

• Kafka

• SonarQube (Sonar)

• Strong focus on application security, including audits, secure libraries, and security best practices.

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment.

• Passion for continuous learning and staying up to date with industry trends.
