HR Operational Specialist (f/m/d) Part-time (20h / week)
Work model for this position: On-site
Your Role and Responsibilities
As an HR Operational Specialist (f/m/d), you support the HR Business Partner at the site in all operational, organizational, and administrative HR matters. With your structured, reliable, and service-oriented approach, you help ensure smooth HR processes. You are an important point of contact for employees and managers and make a valuable contribution to operational HR work as well as local projects.
Your Tasks at a Glance
Operational HR Support
Supporting the HR Business Partner in day-to-day business and taking on a variety of administrative tasks
Preparing HR documents such as certificates, letters, and templates
Recruiting & Onboarding
Supporting recruitment for our blue-collar areas – from posting job ads to coordinating the selection process
Coordinating and supporting onboarding, including involving relevant interfaces and scheduling
Health & Absence Management
Organizing, scheduling, and following up on BEM (occupational reintegration) meetings
Administrative support in absence management (e.g., handling inquiries)
Workday Administration
Acting as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR transactions in Workday (e.g., address changes, terminations, reclassifications, transfers)
Supporting the accuracy and maintenance of system data
Coordination & Communication
Scheduling HR meetings, interview rounds, and internal alignments
Organizing rooms, equipment, and relevant resources
Sending out information and supporting the maintenance of local HR communication channels
Reporting & Project Support
Preparing reports and evaluations
Contributing to HR projects – e.g., process optimization and site initiatives
You will be part of a dedicated team that supports your professional development and values your contributions.
Qualifications for the Role
Professional Requirements
Completed commercial training, ideally with an HR focus
Initial experience in operational or administrative HR work
Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook
Experience with HR systems (SAP HR and Workday) is a plus
Basic knowledge of labor law is desirable
English skills at B2 level required

Structured, diligent, and reliable working style
Enjoyment of administrative tasks and operational support
Strong service orientation and communication skills
Discreet and professional handling of sensitive data
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
