Where you come in:
You will support semi-annual standard cost update and conduct detailed analysis for material cost change
You will perform simulation of standard cost with computation of resource and overhead rates to support annual budget and LRP exercise as driver for management decision
You will review requirement of change for bill of material (BOM) and routing hours to support for operational process change
You will be responsible for monthly COGS variance detailed analysis, forecast bridging commentaries to identify root cause and provide actionable insights to the management
You support business in analyzing production variances and associated manufacturing costs like operating supplies and tooling expenses
You will present manufacturing dashboard, yield and scrap KPI reporting, to review with operations to communicate findings and drive for cost optimization and process improvement
You support annual budget and quarterly forecast preparation for COGS variances and manufacturing costs
You will oversee SOX compliance, support interim/annual audit cycle and address internal and external audit request
You will assess of accounting treatment changes and financial impact from operational process change to support for business decision making
You will reconcile, analyze and interpret system data working with IT on dual system data discrepancy troubleshooting
You will perform cost validation, data compilation and tasks assigned by the management when required
What makes you successful:
Degree in Accounting or Finance/Professional Qualification in Accounting (CIMA/ACCA)
Minimum 6 - 8 years related experience in Product Costing or Inventory Accounting
Business acumen with understanding of manufacturing process and end-to-end inventory cycle
Strong analytical skills, meticulous and attention to detail
Strong communication skills interfacing across functions and multiple levels in the organization
High organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrate teamwork, leadership, integrity and accountability
Ability to work under pressure, work with ambiguity and initiate innovation
Advanced skill in MS Excel is a must
Experience in Oracle is preferred
Experience with advance data analytical reporting & visualization tools is a plus
