About the Role

To compile agency related reports and performance analysis. Manage and deep dive on data definition, source and structure to ensure data quality and accuracy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Routine Operations (80%)

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of regular/ ad-hoc agency reports and dashboards that is related to agency compensation and financing scheme.
  • Perform business analysis and provide comments & recommendations on agents’ performance
  • Responsible to maintain compensation and financing system setting up to date according to the latest changes/ new schemes and develop/ maintain respective tools (e.g. excel tools) for daily operations
  • Ensure accurate database and agency hierarchy among all systems
  • Work with users to define business requirements on report/ analysis; translate and collaborate with IT/ technical teams to implement/ extract the required data for reports/ analysis
  • Gathering information from multiple sources and critically evaluating it, reconciling conflicts, disseminating high-level information into details and distinguishing user requests from their true needs
  • Perform SIT/ UAT/ Post-production check on system enhancement or digitalization projects
  • Act as SME on compensation and financing scheme data and its definition
  • Handle enquiries from internal departments
  • Maintain and update documented procedures and functional specifications
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by immediate manager in order to meet business requirements
  • Prepare operational support documentation
  • Willingness to perform job rotation when and as required
  • You are required to obtain relevant license if your job involves in regulated activities

Departmental Transformation (20%)

  • Proactively provide feedback and improvement suggestion on report generation process to improve operational efficiency
  • Actively take part in departmental transformation/ digitalization initiatives, review and provide recommendations/ user requirements to streamline / automate/ digitalize workflows/ procedures as well as assist to establish documented workflows/procedures
  • Participate in business analysis related system enhancement/ report automation projects

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • University graduated in related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years working experience preferably in financial industries with at least 1 years’ relevant experience in data mining/MIS/business analytics

Specific Skills

  • High proficiency in MS Excel, VBA, MS SQL and MS Access are required
  • Experience with BI Tool(s) e.g. QlikView, Power BI
  • Ability to understand business needs and translate to BI solutions
  • Speed and accuracy when processing data
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it
  • Strong analytical and reasoning skills
  • Good problem solving, organizing, time management as well as interpersonal and communication skills
  • A good team player, enthusiastic and pursue for excellence
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
