Job Title: Splunk & Automation Engineer (Infrastructure Monitoring)
Role Summary
Skilled Splunk & Automation Engineer responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure monitoring solutions. The role involves working on Splunk-based reporting, alerting frameworks, and supporting automation initiatives using AWX and Ansible. This position requires collaboration with global teams and adaptability to evolving requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Splunk Monitoring & Reporting
Develop and maintain Splunk reports and dashboards for infrastructure/system monitoring, including:
o CPU and memory utilization
o Long-running searches
o Queue performance and load monitoring
Configure and manage Splunk alerts based on defined threshold values with integrations to email and Microsoft Teams.
Implement and manage Splunk configurations for system monitoring (e.g., Heavy Forwarder mapping as Search Peers).
Automation & Configuration Management (Emerging Scope)
Support deployment and configuration of custom Splunk applications using AWX playbooks.
Develop and maintain automation workflows using Ansible on the AWX platform, including:
o Extraction of Splunk infrastructure details (HF apps, inputs list)
o Dynamic host file generation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance automation capabilities and improve operational efficiency.

Ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams.
