We invite passionate individuals to join our team, dedicated to exceeding customer expectations through innovative and sustainable solutions.
The Role
You will lead the deployment of Xylem Vue software solutions at client sites, ensuring seamless configuration, accurate data integration, and reliable algorithm performance. You will collaborate closely with IT stakeholders, functional analysts, and end users to design, implement, and validate ETL processes and system parameterizations tailored to each project’s needs. This role blends technical problem‑solving, integration design, and hands‑on implementation with client‑facing communication.
Core Responsibilities
Understand Xylem Vue system processes and algorithms, and apply parameterization tools to relaunch processes, debug data issues, monitor results, and validate system outputs.
Provide clear explanations to users regarding system results and algorithm behavior.
Execute and support the deployment of Xylem Vue products, adapting configurations to client‑specific technical and functional requirements.
Review and contribute to technical documentation, solution specifications, and project code.
Collaborate with functional analysts to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
Interact directly with clients as needed to clarify technical requirements and resolve integration questions.
Design implementation solutions that meet client needs while minimizing custom parameterization of the base system.
Apply industry and business process best practices in solution design.
Identify recurring configuration needs and propose their incorporation into the core Xylem Vue product.
Implement and validate all system parameterizations defined during solution design.
Design, implement, and test ETL processes (data integration, synchronization, transformation) across required technologies.
Propose enhancements for the Xylem Vue product based on implementation insights and report any identified defects.
Participate in technical and functional test planning and execution.
Support recruitment and hiring processes by helping identify technical resource needs.
Document implemented solutions to support reuse and standardization across projects.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience with ETL tools and data integration processes.
Proven experience designing and implementing pipelines in Apache NiFi.
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Groovy) for automation within ETL workflows.
Experience with both real‑time and batch data processing.
Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
Experience integrating systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
Ability to design scalable, secure, and efficient ETL workflows.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and continuous integration practices.
Knowledge of data security principles and best practices for handling sensitive data.
Strong communication skills, teamwork, and advanced problem‑solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in Apache NiFi or other ETL platforms.
Experience with Apache Spark, Airflow, or similar data processing tools.
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization/orchestration tools.
Knowledge of Big Data ecosystems and data lake technologies.
