Shift: Monday - Friday

Job Summary:

The role of an EHR Specialist II is to provide technical support and assistance to co-workers related to electronic health record software issues. The work of an EHR Specialist II may extend over several areas of expertise or software applications.  The EHR Specialist II will be able to manage moderate complexity issues by effectively communicating basic concepts and messages, while articulating the relevance to the target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for answering EHR Support Phone calls, while demonstrating good customer service.
  • Responsible for completing EHR Support tickets in a timely manner. Monitoring and maintaining personal queues in line with EHR policies.
  • Responsible for maintaining After Hours Support during scheduled weeks.
  • Responsible for training current EHR team members on new functionality and processes.
  • Maintain system functionality through testing of new software versions
  • May be responsible for creating new hire accounts during scheduled weeks.
  • Responsible for completing New Hire Training on scheduled weeks.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Is sensitive and responsible to management needs, such as data collection, program evaluation, development of grant applications, maintenance of various contracts for services, etc.
  • Participates in all required meetings.
  • Regularly participates in evaluation of self and assigned staff according to Burrell Operational Guidelines.

Experience and/or Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) Required
  • Minimum of 2 years of equivalent experience
