Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

PSU Technology group in CBA is responsible for the world class payment service and experience to customer with leading application of technology and operations across every aspect. We also use technology to drive efficient and timely processing, an essential component of great customer service.

Our team is composed of engineers and technology leaders, who bring in the right mix of skills to enable this transformation. We also work very closely with our business and operations colleagues to support these services which are critical to the Australian and Global economy.

Our team is also responsible in driving Engineering Governance, Continuous Delivery and key technological simplification.

Impact & Contribution:

Apply software engineering principles and practices in programming technologies and platforms to achieve business outcomes, while building out core technology and domain knowledge required to be effective.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participate as a member of the systems development team with minimal supervision and occasional guidance.
• Contribute to the development of estimation, design, installation, configuration, integration, and productionizing of information technology system components.
• Ensure rapid, automated, and safe deployment of technical solutions.
• Focus on non-functional requirements such as security, reliability, performance, maintainability, scalability, and usability.
• Provide local technical support and assistance to non-technical members of the team.
• Take on support and technical troubleshooting responsibility for production systems.
• Drive continuous improvements for the system and team processes.

Essential Skills:

Must Have

• Hands-on experience of 4+ years as a full-stack engineer experience.
• Good working experience in .Net-Framework or .Net Core with C#.
• Hands-on experience on Web Api, MVC with .Net core.

Good to Have

• Good working experience in windows application
• Good knowledge of Banking Industry.
• Good knowledge on build tools like TeamCity CI/CD or GitHub actions.
• Hand-on Experience on IBM MQ, Kafka, or similar Messaging libraries.
• Good understanding on SWIFT/ISO 20022 messages format.
• Good to have experience in SQL.
• Experience with Monitoring tool Splunk & AppDynamics
• Unit/Integration/Acceptance testing, Test Automation.
• HTML5, CSS and JavaScript. React or Angular (Must have) Frontend Technologies
• C# with good knowledge of OOPS concepts.
• AWS (Preferred), Azure (Good to have) Cloud experience.
• Any Git tools.
   

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
