The Platform Analyst facilitates newly needed functionality or improvements in a specific application area, here the creation and global publication of information on the web about our company, its products and services. Incumbents are responsible for the functional content and behavior of the application by identifying the implications of business process changes on IT technology through needs analysis, risk assessment, IT process (re)design and ultimately implementing the IT application, including training of (key) users. The Platform Analysts supports business process optimization through mapping the user-IT requirements onto the IT possibilities for improvement of functionality in our chosen software stack and defines and maintains those.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Translates business requirements into IT solutions, in accordance with the business and IT strategy, in order to specify the IT projects and services.
  • Analyzes business processes and formulate proposals for IT solutions and accompanying frames and work methods, and supports realization, in order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes. Is directly involved in the process architecture.
  • Support projects/programs, within the program budget, in order to guarantee an effective development and implementation of the chosen IT solutions, including testing, training and set-up of the SLA.
  • Advises and supports Business and IT Management through mapping the user requirements on the existing IT possibilities for improvement of functionality in the assigned application area.
  • Analyzes problems in operation and makes sure that the problems are solved within the requirements of the SLA and to the satisfaction of the user.
  • Develops and provides required user training for the implemented application.
  • Responsible for the documentation, testing and maintenance of the assigned applications.

Key Competencies/Knowledge

  • Web content creation and publishing process knowledge relevant for a multinational with global coverage Management process knowledge (at least 5 years relevant experience)
  • Expert in tools like Contentful, or Adobe AEM), good skills in other tools like Coveo or PoolParty
  • Knowledge on industry best practices to support relevant business processes.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and DevOps
  • Experience with coaching technical leads and developers.
  • Experience with estimating software development.
  • Strong communication skills desired

You are a part of

The Digital Heath Systems IT Team and report to the DevSecOps manager. You strongly collaborate with Product Owners and Process Experts in the business and the Tech Lead in IT. You are part of the SCRUM team(s).

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • University degree
  • About 5-year experience in a business (process) analyst role
  • Strong analytical thinking, understanding of data models, experience with reporting tools
  • Strong & clear communicator who is able to communicate with stakeholders on multiple levels
  • Fluent in English
