Job Description

Primary activities/responsibilities

  • Support all TIOE/ITRMS technology domain service deployments for end users within the two manufacturers(HEDA & Ningbo, travel is required).
  • Regularly introduce infrastructure standards, guidelines, and new initiatives to business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with local stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver appropriate TIOE standard solutions.
  • Provide market feedback and user requirements to GEUS or other tech domain product teams to enhance user experience (UX).
  • Resolve complex technical issues independently while coordinating with other IT teams to escalate and address challenges.
  • Support local business operations and manage ad-hoc user requests in partnership with the GEUS team.
  • Ensure DSS and managed services partners comply with processes and meet SLA commitments.
  • Monitor and collaborate with IT Hubs to maintain stable and available IT infrastructure operations for the two manufacturers.
  • Partner with cross-functional IT colleagues within the country to operate as One IT Team.
  • Provide training and guidance to end users on technology and applications; assist in creating and maintaining documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.

Education level:

  • Education: BSc Degree or equivalent with relevant experience in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience

Experience/Technical Skills:

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, with 5+ years as a team leader in a site IT role.
  • Good written and verbal skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Proven experience supporting end-user computing environments, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Experience working with network infrastructure components such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Background in managing and supporting server environments (Windows/Linux) and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while demonstrating high motivation and strong client focus.
  • Experience working in a multi-vendor environment and coordinating with external service providers.
  • Prior involvement in IT project deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Experience in user training and documentation creation.
  • Exposure to security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle escalated technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with users, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
