Job Description:
SYSTEMS ANALYST
- Conducts analysis on Business Requirements and prepares the design documentation at the systems level for medium to complex systems or modules
- Develops and maintains, tests and implements modules according to system specifications. Identifies all possible scenarios and prepares tests for the systems under development.
- Executes test plan during development and provides system testing, user acceptance testing and other testing support as required to ensure that the system processing reflects user requirements / designs
- Performs implementation activities such as program promotions, installation of the system, training and tutorial for end users
- Provides post-implementation support for systems including analysis of production incidents
- Develops and updates of the Permanent System Documentations and other Operations Manuals
- Provides updates and status reports to the project manager during the course of a development and related support activities
- In charge of a system module. Identifies areas for improvement /enhancement on existing system module or on the entire system, and on new ones being developed
- Ensures solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable and delivered on schedule
- Resolves technical issues through debugging, research and investigation

- Experience in Salesforce is a must – atleast 3-5 years or more as Salesforce Systems Analyst
- 5 years or more experience with Informatica or any similar ETL tool, analysis & design, with testing experience
- 3-5 years or more as Team Lead or Systems Analyst
- Experience in managing multiple resources/developers
- Competent Systems Analysis and Design skills
- Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) major tasks and deliverables
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, experience working in cross functional environment
- Knowledge in Source Code Control procedures
- Knowledge/experience in Release Management practices
- Knowledge/experience in Configuration Management practices
- Other technologies:
- SAP BOBI Reports
- Oracle PL/SQL

Other Requirements:
- College/University Degree, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering & Mathematics
- Background in Banking, Financial and Life Insurance business is a plus
- Applies competent programming skills in at least one of the supported Sun Life platforms
- Applies competent systems analysis and design skills
- Able to apply the development methodology used in Sun Life (Entry) foundational knowledge of:
- Systems Development Life Cycles, its stages, major tasks and deliverables
