Are you passionate about cybersecurity? Do you thrive in solving complex issues and ensuring secure access management? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Join our diverse team and play a crucial role in safeguarding Micron’s valuable data and systems.
As a Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Analyst in Micron’s Identity and Access Governance Team, you will be at the forefront of designing and maintaining Micron’s access controls on a global scale. You will partner with collaborators from across the network to ensure that access aligns with our “zero trust” initiative and supports “need-to-know-only” access. You will engage with Site IP Contacts, Site and Area Leaders, Local IT, and more. Additionally, you will collaborate with customers to resolve access issues and ensure their access is provisioned accurately, enabling them to perform their jobs. This is a dynamic role with large impact and an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to advance a career in IAM with a variety of possibilities and challenges.
Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure secure and efficient access management.
Investigate, resolve, and implement solutions to access-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Evaluate user access requests and ensure user compliance with program setup as well as “least privilege” principles.
Smoothly transition Micron applications, physical access control systems (PACS), and unstructured data from their previous access control methods to role-based access control.
Drive activities before, during and after RBAC implementation by performing data analysis, showing incredible attention to detail, and coordinating SOEs (sequence of events) between the RBAC team, IAM platform owners, LDAP, AD, and entitlement policy authorities to ensure a smooth implementation with minimal impact to the business.
Support joiner-mover-leaver (JML) activities and ensure Micron’s workforce has appropriate RBAC roles and access permissions.
Perform new role creation and update existing roles with potentially complex changes in business needs through close collaboration with business representatives.
Conduct role mining, role engineering, certification campaigns, and access auditing.
Analyze access data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential security risks.
Design and conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Collaborate with IAM platform development teams and security leadership to improve operations and implement industry best practices.
Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Role-based Access Control (RBAC) concepts.
Hands-on experience with IAG platforms (SailPoint preferred).
Solid understanding of coarse-grained and fine-grained entitlements, including enterprise roles and role design.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and skilled at bulk data manipulation.
Excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
Cooperative and inclusive with a positive attitude, well-suited for working across geographical and organizational cultures.
Superb communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a global, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
Preference given to qualified candidates who possess the following additional skills:
Microsoft SQL Server – performing complex queries, extracting and manipulating data
Development of Tableau reports and visualizations
Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow and SharePoint
Python, Power Automate, or other automation or scripting tools
Machine Learning
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent certifications/professional experience. Related disciplines considered.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in identity and access management, with a focus on RBAC.
