Position Overview:
The Senior Associate, Merchandising role focuses on leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making within the Merchandising team. The primary responsibility is to manage the analysis of deals, campaign performance, and merchant insights, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve future campaigns. This role plays a key part in ensuring that the right deals are sourced, performance metrics are tracked, and insights are shared with the wider team to optimize merchant participation and campaign results.
What you'll do:
Deal and Performance Analysis:
Own and manage the deal data capture of deals from BDs and across verticals
Evaluate the quality of deals sourced by BD teams during each campaign, ensuring that they align with campaign objectives, such as offering competitive pricing, exclusive offerings, and relevant product categories
Translate performance analysis into actionable insights for marketing/ R&D/Supply teams and provide reporting/analytical support to merchandising teams during QBR, MBRs etc.
Work with BLM to Leverage insights from campaigns to inform the planning and execution of future campaigns, creating a continuous improvement loop across all merchant and deal sourcing efforts
Campaign Optimization and Management:
Success in aligning data insights with broader campaign strategies, ensuring that BD, Marketing, and Operations teams work seamlessly together based on shared data.
Work closely with Marketing teams to align data insights with broader campaign strategies, ensuring that performance data informs promotional tactics, content strategies, and operational planning
Work with BLM to develop and manage KPIs and target settings for deals across different markets and verticals
Provide recommendations for future campaigns, using insights from past performance to refine merchant targeting, deal types, and communication strategies.
What you'll need:
4-5 years of experience in campaign operations or analytics roles within e-commerce, retail, or a related industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Master’s degree or additional certifications in data analysis or marketing analytics is a plus.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, or other BI tools) to extract, manipulate, and visualize data.
Ability to evaluate and interpret complex data sets to derive actionable insights.
Proven track record of managing data-driven projects, with a focus on deal analysis and performance optimization.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly in marketing, supply chain, and operations.
