Our mission is to support Nu’s sustainable growth, ensuring the AML process and regulatory routines are in compliance with local and international regulatory requirements, challenging the status quo through: 

  • Promoting the best customer experience to our fanatic customers, ensuring a high-quality standard of client data, as well as its regulatory adherence; 
  • Execute AML operational routines including but not limited to KYC, PEPs, Sanctions, Enhanced Due Diligence, FATCA/CRS (KYC Ops Team), Transactional Analysis (AML Ops Team), and Embargoes, contributing to a more ethical and fair society, truly understanding that compliant operations are a key driving force for the solid growth and development of Nubank.

To accomplish that, the RegSol - KYC Ops team is charged with safeguarding Nu by adhering to established regulatory requirements related to the FATCA/CRS operational routines, ensuring the continuity of our business.

As a Regulatory Solutions Analyst- FATCA, You're Expected To

  • Define and execute the operational KYC process to determine the FATCA/CRS reportable population;
  • Review and analyze customer documentation to determine FATCA/CRS status and reporting requirements;
  • Identify and mitigate potential FATCA/CRS risks;
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer information and KYC documentation.
  • Lead the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures related to FATCA/CRS compliance;
  • Stay updated on changes in FATCA/CRS regulations and best practices;
  • Work closely with other departments, including Compliance, Legal, and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of the FATCA/CRS KYC process;
  • Provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders regarding FATCA/CRS compliance.

We're Looking for an experienced Regulatory Solutions - FATCA/CRS Analyst Who Has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree;
  • 3+ years of experience in FATCA/CRS compliance, KYC, or a related field
  • Proven experience in handling FATCA/CRS reporting in the Colombian financial sector in the last year.
  • Strong understanding of FATCA/CRS regulations and best practices, considering the local Colombian context ;
  • Attention to detail, data-driven & results-oriented;
  • Languages: Advanced or native Spanish and English
  • Great communication skills; enjoys engaging in discussions with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
  • A solid analytical background is desired. Must be comfortable manipulating data. Programming is not required, but candidates need to display interest in learning basic data analysis skills (e.g., SQL)
