We are a team of entrepreneurs building for entrepreneurs. Our creators earn more than $1B / year with a team of about 70 people based in Brooklyn, NY.

What does the role look like?

• Own backend systems and infra powering core product surfaces: content rewards, discovery feed, recommendations, real-time chat, video infra, payments

• Scale the platform and database layer (PlanetScale, MySQL, Rails) to handle billions in GMV

• Architect and implement new AI-powered creator onboarding, global payout infra, leaderboards, and more

• Optimize performance, infra, and reliability at scale

• Provide technical direction, mentorship, and high-quality code to raise the bar for the entire eng org

What we're looking for:

• Deep backend experience: Rails, SQL, distributed systems

• Experience building and scaling large consumer systems

• Ability to go full-stack when needed

• Product-minded — you care about what you're building and why

• Trusted technical leader who leads by doing

Compensation, Benefits & Perks
