WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Our Senior Director, Hospital Sales Operations will oversee, support and manage the sales operations team covering Hospital Client groups in the Pacific Region, to ensure enhancement of sales team performance and sales strategy.  Work with internal business partners to develop efficiencies that enable the sales organization and help drive increased revenue. Oversee the development and implementation of sales strategies, processes, market development and systems to optimize performance and support the achievement of revenue goals.

This is a Remote/WFH position. Our ideal candidate will live within the territory, preferably in our highest-density areas (Southern or Northern California, or Arizona)

The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $175,000.  This is a salaried position with a quarterly incentive plan based upon individual and organizational performance.

Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.  

This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD

1. Utilize data-driven insights to improve sales forecasting, optimize pipeline management, and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators). Create regional operation reviews to inform decision-making, sales enablement and strategy.

2. Collaborate to conduct ongoing assessments and provide recommendations to improve our current sales process.

3. Partner with senior leaders to create a comprehensive long-term strategic sales plan to drive organizational objectives.

4. Work with business partners around long-term strategy with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and incorporate other internal systems into CRM.

5. Work with business partners to leverage data to bring insight into revenue performance and customer trends and to improve customer satisfaction and meet customer needs.

6. Lead a team of sales operations professionals, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.  Oversee the team that is responsible for implementation of new and existing hospital service plans and market support and development.  Develop and oversee training programs to improve seller’s skills.

7. Lead enhancements to the account planning framework to improve identification growth opportunities.  Create competitor and market analysis tracking tool.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Communications, Marketing, Operations, Healthcare, Data Analytics.
  • Experience: Minimum 10-years’ of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience in the profit or not-for-profit sector in business, sales, operations, communications, or corporate administration
  • Management Experience: 7-years’ of management experience directing a workforce, including program management responsibilities.
  • Ability to work on a team.  Possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of sales, and a proven track record of enhancing sales productivity in a complex, fast-paced and metrics-driven environment. 
  • Operational expertise; manage complex situation and priorities; technical expertise with CRM and other technology platforms used in sales operations; project management; process optimization; verbal and written communication skills; team leadership and cross-functional collaboration; strategic thinking; structured and disciplined customer focus; financial acumen

Travel: Up to 25% (May be up to 50% during the first 12 months in the role)

*Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to the description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

Physical Requirements

Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.
