The Sales Manager will report to the Sales Director.
Candidates for this sales headcount must already have experience with sold customer relationships in the assigned customer sector.
The incumbent is accountable developing new accounts from initially Rev $0 to approximately Rev $5M/yr in 3 years.
The incumbent will take ownership of bringing and be responsible for the entire life cycle of the assigned accounts.
The role will need to interface with Suppliers and Customers on an on-going basis for maximizing revenue, margins and customer satisfaction.
The incumbent also has to develop excellent relationship with the Company's Suppliers and Customers to uncover business opportunities and enhancing value-addition for assigned accounts.
Create business plans for the assigned accounts.
Build relationships with customers from working level to C-level management.
Assessment of market conditions and discernment of opportunities for TD SYNNEX products and services
Aligns with customer and relevant entities in the solution eco-system to increase sales effectiveness.
Revenue and Margin growth for new and existing business customers.
Develops growth of the TD SYNNE’s customer community.
Implementation of account plan and sales initiatives, as agreed with Sales Director and senior leadership management.
Executes plan and achieve the assigned accounts targets.
Develops and maintain operational level relationships with Suppliers.
Autonomous in managing assigned accounts day-to-day sales processes, proposals, forecasting, CRM updating, pipeline management and Customer engagements.
Ensures highest and continuous improving levels of customer satisfaction.
Achieves significant cross-selling and up-selling of products and services through effective team work with other internal business units and suppliers.
Builds relevant ecosystem with the help of the solution and services team, with the aim of scaling up business.
Develops and executes account plans to achieve QoQ as well as YoY growth of his/her assigned accounts.
Builds high loyalty and long term business relations with the assigned customers.
Sell infrastructure/software/3rd platform solutions and services to new and prospective customers by leveraging technologies form major global vendors and expertise from Tech Data.
Prospect within a territory or account to uncover business needs and opportunities.
Work closing with pre-sales resources and executives on strategic account development opportunities.
Manage and execute complete sales cycle from prospecting, qualifying, closing and forecasting.
Prepare standard/complex quotation/proposal/RFQ/FRP/tender and negotiating T&C as needed.
Work with other departments such as finance and legal to create and finalize contracts.
Work with other departments such as services and operation to ensure goods and services are delivered in a timely manner according to budget.
Experience in hunter-type selling with rich experience in developing new customer base.
Proven track record as a top sales performer with six figures annual revenue.
Proven success in building relationship and business success.
Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics and develop a winning sales plan.
Ability to communicate technical and business concepts and relate them to TD SYNNEX solutions and customer needs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to manage complete tendering process by appropriately allocating work internally, evaluate risk, collaborate with internal and supplier resources to structure a winning and profitable offer, and submitting a winning bid according to customer’s process and requirement.
Fluency in local language and English, both written and spoken
Typically requires minimum of 5 years sales experience of information technology in infrastructure and/or software solutions with at least 2 years track record in assigned sector domain.
Experience working in a vendor or system integrator environment is preferred.
Bachelor ‘s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer or other relevant discipline.
