Job Description Summary
The Aero Services ITR Leader is responsible for commercial activities and services execution across Latin America. The Aero Services ITR Leader translates concepts, develops strategies and implements change through cross-functional teams rallied around delivering for our customers. This role identifies opportunities for volume and backlog growth, and portfolio solutions. This leader needs to have strong knowledge of market economics, competitive issues, technology and projects. Bring together key decision makers in other parts of the Gas Power business, including the Aero Services business lines, engineering and product management, to make the right commercial and execution decisions. Creates programs responsive to external environment and participate in cross-functional business and cultural development. The Aero Services ITR Leader is ultimately accountable to rally all GE Vernova functional areas to deliver our customer commitments with safety, integrity and quality.
Job Description
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
- Develop services business strategy for the defined portfolio and provide insights on market dynamics.
- Responsible for business growth of the Latin America Aero Services portfolio.
- Lead Sales & Execution teams in creating solutions to customer needs, solving business problems through consultative approach, developing strategic sales / business plans and being responsible for delivering orders, commitments, revenue, margin and cash.
- Develop influential relationships with assigned customers at senior levels and develop strategies to win profitable business and deliver for those customers.
- Develop customer strategies, campaign plans, and lead in their execution, being the focal point for customer issue resolution at the most senior level.
- Own the accuracy, forecast and delivery of orders and commitments for the Latin America region.
- Demonstrate responsibility for the financial performance of the backlog for all contractual and transactional service activities within the region.
- Partner with Product Management Leaders to drive continued differentiation vs. competition, productivity programs to drive cost out, customer availability and reliability.
- Foster collaboration between parts, repairs, engineering, services execution, and other critical areas to ensure service excellence for our customers.
- Lead the region’s efforts to ensure Customer Service Excellence.
- Drive operational excellence in the areas of integrity, controllership and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations / Commercial in the power generation industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing direct reports.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate in English and Spanish
Other Eligibility
- Aeroderivative power generation industry background.
- Post Graduation or master’s degree in engineering or business administration
- Up to 50% travel with Latin America countries.
