Our ECM Team based in Paris is currently looking for an Intern Analyst to start in January 2025. The team manages the origination and execution of all transactions related to equity issuance on behalf of mid-cap and large-cap clients, including notably IPOs, capital increases, accelerated equity offerings, private placements and equity-linked issuances. Citi consistently ranks amongst the top ECM houses in France, having led 70+ transactions since 2017. Citi also is a leading ECM franchise in EMEA and globally. As an intern in the ECM team based in Paris at Citi, you will have the unique opportunity to work alongside a team where you will get direct exposure to the French and broader European ECM landscape as well as work closely with the broader investment banking department.

Your time here will look something like this...

•  Contributing to the preparation of client presentation materials (pitchbooks)

•  Supporting the team on the execution of live ECM transactions

•  Being constantly in contact with complementary teams across the bank (investment banking, markets…)

•  Performing market monitoring reflecting latest macro trends

•  Running detailed analysis on stocks and indices

•  Benchmarking past ECM transactions

•  Condensing market and company information from a vast variety of sources and preparing macro and equity market updates for our clients

We want to hear from you if...

•  You are available to start in January 2025

•  You are currently enrolled in a tier-1 university or top French "Ecole de Commerce" or "Ecole d’Ingénieur" that can provide an internship agreement

•  You are fluent in French and English – Another European language (Italian, Spanish…) would be desirable

•  You have excellent analytical, presentation, and numerical skills

•  You are fully proficient in Microsoft Office  (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - Bloomberg, Dealogic or FactSet knowledge would be a strong plus

•  You thrive in a fast-paced ever changing environment

•  With student status and related visa covering the whole internship period
