Chief Client Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute the strategic vision for the account executive team, setting ambitious and achievable targets for client acquisition, growth, and retention.
  • Model excellence in client management and product knowledge, setting the standard for the Account Executive team.
  • Maintain and advance deep expertise in all DMT products
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop account executives, fostering a culture of continuous learning, high performance, and professional growth.
  • Oversee key client relationships, guide the team in delivering customized solutions, and act as executive sponsor for major accounts.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to identify and pursue whitespace opportunities for new product sales, proactively cultivating strong, collaborative relationships to drive mutual success and expand market reach.
  • Present and develop the value proposition and return on investment for DMT solutions and clients
  • Implement effective processes and metrics to track team performance, pipeline health, and client satisfaction
  • Represent Dark Matter Technologies at conferences, webinars, and industry events,
  • Proactively cultivate partnerships with clients, building trust and rapport through attentive service and regular engagement
  • Run NPS surveys, assess outcomes, and coordinate follow-up actions with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Advisory Board meetings

Key Skills/Qualifications

  • Experience: 8 – 10 years of experience in account management, client success or related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to inspire, motivate, and direct a diverse team of account executives toward shared goals.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strategic Thinking: Expertise in creating and implementing strategies to drive growth and achieve business objectives.
  • Product Expertise: Deep understanding of DMT products, mortgage workflows, and technology solutions.
  • Coaching & Development: Skilled in mentoring and developing professionals, fostering talent and continuous improvement.
  • Client Relationship Management: Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding client needs and delivering value.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in interpreting data, market trends, and performance metrics to inform decisions.
  • Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying challenges and implementing effective solutions within fast-paced environments.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive grasp of mortgage industry regulations, trends, and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and engineering teams to drive results.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating change and uncertainty in a rapidly evolving industry.

Working Conditions

  • This is a full-time position, and the selected candidate is expected to work standard business hours, with occasional extended hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
  • The role may require occasional travel to meet with clients, partners, or attend industry events.
  • Qualified candidates may work remotely 100% of the time.

Salary Range (US Only):

The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $176,000.00 - $264,000.00 per year. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors.

Other Compensation (US Only):

Sales positions may be eligible to participate in the business commission plan. Plan details will be provided to you upon hire.

Full time employees will also be eligible for enrollment in a wide range of choices of benefits , including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, short/long term disability, 401(k) participation (with company match).

Time off (US Only):

The Company provides a minimum of 10 days of vacation for new employees , sick time based on state requirements, 8 Company-paid holidays and 2 personal holidays per year.
