What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician with a strong basic foundation in multiple trades including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and locksmithing. You’ll play a key role in maintaining hotel facilities and equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. A hands-on approach and prior experience in hospitality maintenance are essential.

Who You Are:

  • Proficient in safety protocols, emergency procedures, and safe handling of tools, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and fluent in English.
  • Committed to guest satisfaction, service excellence, and teamwork.
  • Available to work a hospitality-driven schedule, including weekends, and holidays, to meet guest service demands and operational needs.
  • Physically capable of performing tasks involving bending, stooping, and lifting up to 75 lbs.

What You Will Do:

  • Perform work requiring strong basic skills in multiple trades, with emphasis on your primary area of expertise.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests, trouble calls, and technical issues throughout the hotel and grounds.
  • Conduct minor equipment repairs and support event setup tasks across the property.
  • Handle hazardous materials in compliance with MSDS and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and communicate status updates to supervisors.
  • Check daily work assignments via HotSoS and maintenance request lists.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment and help maintain the shop part levels.
  • Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions, and comply with uniform and grooming standards.
  • Execute emergency procedures in accordance with hotel protocols.
  • Promote a collaborative team environment, support sustainability initiatives, and stay informed of hotel updates and operational procedures.

Your Experience Should Include:

  • Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred.

  • Basics English language communication skills.

  • Basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing knowledge required.

  • Strong mechanical background with minimal 2-3 years’ hands on experience in maintenance related activity.

  • Valid Florida Driver License preferred.

  • Ability to regularly push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally with team members, leaders and guests required.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required.
