The Neuroscience Project Manager will play a critical client-facing leadership role in fulfilling the capital equipment acquisition and investment of the Gamma Knife systems, system upgrades, and radioactive source reloads within Region North and Central America. They will engage during the sales process to help drive order execution, collect project intelligence for operations planning, and continue the client relationship upon contract execution to acceptance.  The Project Manager will work closely with other Elekta business partners, suppliers, and subcontractors to schedule and deploy resources to client sites.  The Project Manager will work with the Business Line and Regional Order Fulfilment teams to ensure Gamma Knife project governance and compliance are followed and further developed in the drive for Elekta Neuroscience excellence within the Order Fulfilment global organization. 

The ideal candidate is a strategic project leader with business acumen who diligently manages risks, is a change agent, and can navigate complexities to execute their resilient implementation strategies.  They can establish business relationships and maintain client satisfaction throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring a smooth transition to Elekta service operations.  In addition, this role also requires that the performance of their projects supports Elekta's overall strategy and goals for revenue, growth, and customer satisfaction.

LOCATION: Hybrid based in Atlanta GA with the possibility of moving to remote

Responsibilities -

· Simultaneously manage multiple high-risk and fast-paced capital equipment projects that vary

in complexity due to client organizational and environmental factors across Region North and

Central America.

· Lead the client engagement through the project lifecycle by initiating PM techniques during

the sales cycle, purchase contracts, all the way through Client acceptance, and transfer to

service.

· Ensure project delivery, execution, and performance of all projects align with Elekta's governance and compliance standards while advocating process agility and continuous improvement under the Neuroscience Program and PMO.

· Proactively manage Client engagements, lead implementations strategies with change management best practices, expert judgment, provide guidance and support to Clients as necessary to effect a timely and successful implementation of medical devices and clinical software.

· The Project Manager is responsible for financial management (revenue and cash) of each project.

The project manager shall exercise his/her influence with the client to drive the project rather than let the client drive the project without sacrificing the quality of the implementation.

· Maintain detailed and current engagement information for all projects and maintain accurate milestone scheduling in CLM and ERP to support Program and Order Fulfillment Management ability to forecast business operations and results.

· Balance project and servant leadership principles to persuade stakeholders to identify, execute, and complete site-specific requirements to ensure regulatory and infrastructure readiness are met for the delivery and installation of Elekta solutions.

· Demonstrate appropriate business and technical communication skills when reporting project risk and performance to all internal and external executives, governance boards, business partners, and stakeholders. · Generate, edit, and maintain product-specific documentation distributed as part of implementation and process (e.g., Checklists, feature notes, technical references, interface specifications, help files, etc.)

· Assist in generating proposals that outline Elekta's standard implementation process or propose alternative solutions to meet Client requirements. Achieve and maintain Trustworthy and Reliable certification to perform a detailed analysis of client Radioactive Materials License to prepare for the manufacturing, importation/exportation, and handling of Radioactive Isotopes for medical use.

AUTHORITIES -

· Maintain and issue Client correspondence necessary for the project's execution

· Take commercial, technical and quality decisions for the respective project within the

framework of signed agreements, Order Fulfillment Process (and other applicable parts of the

Elekta Quality System), and approval procedures.

· Approve travel requests and consultants related to the projects (within the Order Fulfillment

Process scope of activities)

Represent Order Fulfillment Neuro Solutions in global and/or local initiatives regarding the

development of Project Management processes and tools.

RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES -

· Pass Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

background check to be granted Trustworthiness and Reliability for access to sensitive project

information and unescorted access to Category 1 and 2 quantities of radiation materials used for the Gamma Knife system.

Must maintain Elekta credentials, radiation safety training, and meet client access requirements which includes current immunization records, medical, and drug screening.

Position requires a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in a Project Management role or equivalent experience. Must be able to lead projects independently, communicate with confidence, and make conscious decisions by assuming ultimate responsibility for meeting project expectations for both Elekta and the client. ·

Experience managing cross-functional teams with sponsorship in healthcare, IT, construction or similar environment preferred.

Must have experience working in an international environment and be cognizant of various cultures and regulatory requirements. · Understanding of radiotherapy and neuroscience hardware systems (Capital Equipment) and supporting software systems.

Clinical background and/or experience working in the healthcare industry preferred. ·

Ability to review, present, and collaborate with technical stakeholders regarding equipment specifications, IT networking Infrastructure, crane/rigging operations, and architectural drawings.

· Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred, required within 12 months for further progression within the role and organization. ·

Bachelor's degree with Project Management coursework, MBA in Project Management preferred. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in addition to outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail. · Proven teamwork skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. · Establish and maintain communication and reporting requirements per the Project Management Plan. · Proficiency with the following: Virtual meeting platforms, Outlook, Word, Excel, MS Project, and Salesforce Ability to travel up to 40% of the time both domestically and internationally
