Job Title: AI Solution Architect

Sandvik Mining is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a leading global supplier of equipment and tools, service and technical solutions for the mining industry. We are prioritizing Digital Shift, focusing on AI and Business Process Automation. To drive the adoption of AI & Automation throughout the organization, we are seeking an AI Solution Architect to join our newly established team at Sandvik. Sandvik is now looking for an experienced and dynamic AI Solution Architect to be located at our design center in Bangalore, India.

Job profile

In this role, you will be responsible for building robust services and architectures, ensuring the security and ethical considerations of our AI solutions, and providing guidance on the principles and components that make up our solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels, helping to identify and execute the needs of our business and support the development of appropriate strategies for moving forward. As an advisor in this international business environment, you will play a critical role in enabling capability creation and acceleration as we embark on this exciting journey.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Master's degree in computer science, applied mathematics, or a related field, along with a strong background in AI or related fields

• Building robust services and architectures
• Coding background with the ability to perform light coding tasks
• Ensuring the security of AI solutions
• Addressing ethical considerations in AI development
• Developing guiding principles for AI solutions and understanding how components fit together

You come from a coding background and have at least 4+ years of experience in a similar role and are comfortable working with modern data stacks. Your analytical and structured mindset, combined with excellent communication skills and initiative, allows you to simplify complex topics and articulate them in an understandable manner. You are a self-starter and can take on responsibilities as they grow.
