The Subject Matter Expert will support the RTR Accounting team with process specific questions, integration projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Will be first point of contact for EMEA Ops&Gov team.
Responsibilities:
Reviews, interprets and communicate financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations to the RtR Accounting team.
Supports and train the RtR Accounting team.
Supervise integration and process improvement related projects.
Develops, implements and/or maintains accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Account Reconciliation, Consolidation system, etc.
May assist in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue, including deferred revenue, in accordance with the company revenue recognition policy.
May interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders. May supervise external audits.
Required qualifications and Experience:
Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product.
Typical Education and Experience: Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and 5 years of related experience or Masters Degree with 3 years of related experience.
