You’ll be placed in a division of Fidelity that handles the clearing and custody of client assets, named Fidelity Clearing Canada (FCC). Fidelity Clearing Canada, founded in Toronto in 2009, provides Canadian registered brokerage firms and portfolio managers with trade execution, clearing, custody and back-office support. This part of Fidelity works with our clients (Introducing Brokers and Portfolio Managers) who hold various types of assets. FCC is a fast-growing division of Fidelity, and the future is very bright as we look to be the #1 clearing and custody broker of choice in Canada.

How you’ll make an impact:

As a student in FCC, Service Delivery & Support you will have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver the highest quality of customer service to our internal and external customers to exceed their expectations and create a positive experience.
  • Provide recommendations on ways to improve internal workflows.
  • Build and enhance loyalty by reducing middle office and advisor effort in their interactions with Fidelity Clearing Canada.
  • Perform product troubleshooting in a multi-channel environment (phone, email etc.) to solve escalated customer issues, and to help raise the bar of our front- line support team.

What we’re looking for:

  • Working towards a university degree in finance, commerce, business, or economics
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to demonstrate self-motivation to be proactive
  • Proven success in establishing exceptional client service
  • Ability to manage projects, juggle multiple priorities and manage deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Prior knowledge on Salesforce will be considered an asset
  • You must be currently enrolled in a registered co-op program to be considered for this position
  • You must also be available on a full-time basis for the duration of the co-op term

You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelity’s dynamic working arrangement

Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.
