About this role

Requires full proficiency in a range of technical processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience to perform a variety of work assignments. Works with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight typically only on complex new assignments. Provides solutions to analytical or scientific problems in situations that are atypical or occur infrequently based on existing precedents or procedures. Acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience.

In this role, you will develop full proficiency in a range of technical processes and procedures through job-related training and on-the-job experience. You will need to be able to apply knowledge of technical processes and procedures to perform a range of work assignments. You need to understand how multiple teams coordinate efforts and resources to achieve objectives and be able to explain complex technical information to members of your own team and other teams.

It is your responsibility to provide solutions to operational or analytical problems using established procedures and practices. You will serve as informal resource on analytical, scientific method, or operational processes for less experienced team members. Your performance impacts the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of your own work and your team’s work. You will receive supervision on new complex assignments.

Responsibilities – Duties, projects, tasks, and activities you would be responsible for in this role

• Work with Shanghai team to manage day-to-day cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs. Minimize idle cash and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage bank accounts and keep up-to-date authorized signers.
• Understand Korea foreign currency regulation and handle FX transactions
• Handle Interco loan drawdown/repayment/rollover. Prepare documents required by BOK.
• Work with planning team to handle bank facilities, arrange board meeting and signatures.
• Use treasury system to execute/ capture Treasury operation.
• Manage communication with local banks for operation activities.
• Work with regional insurance focal to manage local insurance.
• Understand Korea regulation. Handle local regulatory reporting. Ensure internal and external compliance.
• Work closely with Planning team and key internal stakeholders (such as accounting, supply chain, business finance, tax) on daily operation.
• Apply expanded conceptual knowledge in supporting treasury related activities aligned with corporate finance. Support business needs and inquiries in related to treasury/finance in Korea.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years+ experience in finance/treasury/banking industry
• Good communication skill and Work effectively in a team environment
• Self-motivated and disciplined
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill in Korean
• Fluency in both written and spoken English
• BA degree. MBA/CPA/CFA is preferred
