Specification Engineer – Building Automation & Control Systems
 

ABB is seeking a Specification Engineer to join our Control Systems department, working in an advanced technological environment Building Automation and Control Systems.

The role includes defining technological solutions for projects, preparing technical proposals and tenders, working closely with consultants and planners, and analyzing system requirements for complex projects.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Specification and design of control systems for building automation projects

• Preparation of technical proposals and tender responses

• Ongoing work with consultants, planners, contractors, and customers

• Reading and analyzing electrical and control schematics

• Preparation of technical specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM)

• Working with suppliers and manufacturers

• Providing professional support during the design and proposal stages
   

Requirements

• Practical Engineer / B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Control Systems – mandatory

• Proven experience in control systems / automation / building automation – mandatory

• Experience in preparing proposals or system specification – a significant advantage

• Ability to read and understand electrical and control drawings – mandatory

• High level of English (reading, writing, and speaking) – mandatory

• Full proficiency in Microsoft Office – mandatory

• Proficiency in AutoCAD – a significant advantage

• Knowledge of control communication protocols such as Modbus / BACnet – advantage

• Knowledge of KNX systems – advantage

• Experience with BMS / Building Automation systems – a significant advantage
