What would you do? Help balance increased marketing complexity and diminishing marketing resources. Drive marketing performance with deep functional and technical expertise, while accelerating time-to-market and operating efficiencies at scale through Data and Technology, Next Generation Content Services, Digital Marketing Services & Customer Engagement and Media Growth Services. In a Marketing Operations job profile, responsibilities include managing and optimizing marketing processes and systems. This involves tasks such as campaign execution, data analysis, and budget management. The goal is to improve marketing efficiency and effectiveness. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of marketing technologies. It is essential for ensuring that marketing strategies are implemented smoothly and deliver measurable results. The planning, executing, tracking and analysis of direct marketing campaigns. These tasks span the entire lifecycle of a marketing campaign, from inception to launch to evaluation of result.
What are we looking for? •Experience •Proven experience in managing relationships with clients or stakeholders, showcasing strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport. Experience supporting the execution of marketing or media campaigns, including administrative tasks such as proposal preparation, reporting, and coordination with delivery teams. Familiarity with data analysis and reporting processes, with experience using tools to gather insights that inform campaign strategies. Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) to manage client interactions, track sales opportunities, and input relevant data. Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, delivery, and creative teams, to achieve common goals. Roles and Responsibilities: Collaboration •Attend regular meetings with the Category Media Specialist team to discuss revenue targets and campaign strategies. Provide proactive support in developing tailored media solutions that align with revenue goals. Share insights and feedback from brand interactions to refine proposals and enhance campaign effectiveness. Assist in coordinating efforts between teams to ensure alignment on objectives and priorities •Brand Relationship Development Research and familiarise yourself with the brands and their key stakeholders to build rapport and trust. Schedule regular check-ins and updates with brand contacts to discuss ongoing campaigns and gather feedback. Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional media solutions based on brand needs. Act as a point of contact for brands, addressing inquiries and ensuring their needs are met promptly. Data Support and Reporting Collect and analyse relevant data to support campaign performance evaluation and optimisation. Prepare insightful reports that highlight key performance indicators and trends for the Category Media Specialists. Collaborate with the team to identify data gaps and recommend improvements to reporting processes. Ensure timely distribution of reports to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making. CRM and Financials Input and maintain accurate records of campaign details and financial transactions in Salesforce. Assist in tracking budget allocations and expenditures for various campaigns to ensure financial accuracy. Generate regular financial reports to monitor revenue performance and assist in forecasting. Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile discrepancies and ensure all financial data is up to date. Campaign Execution Management Coordinate with the Delivery team to manage the logistics of campaign execution, ensuring all elements are in place. Monitor campaign progress and troubleshoot any issues that arise during execution. Compile post-campaign reports that assess performance against objectives and provide recommendations for future initiatives. Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless campaign delivery. Self-leadership Accountable for individual compliance with company values, policies and procedures (including Coles Code of Conduct) and all applicable external laws and regulations.
