Key Responsibilities:

  • Alternatives Adoption: Help drive adoption of Corient's alternatives funds by coordinating across due diligence, operations, marketing, portfolio, and advisory teams to ensure funds are launched in a timely manner and in response to client demand.
  • Infrastructure & Reporting: Build and maintain scalable reporting infrastructure and data pipelines that enable accurate, consistent tracking of key metrics across the alternatives platform.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor key business metrics to assess progress against objectives, identify emerging issues, and develop actionable solutions that keep initiatives on track.
  • Strategic Planning: Partner with business leaders to design and implement strategies that advance Corient's alternatives platform, supporting growth, efficiency, and long-term innovation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships across teams and functions, ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities, goals, and deliverables.
  • Executive Presentations: Develop high-quality materials and presentations for senior leadership, translating complex data and ideas into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Project Management: Track project milestones across fund launches and strategic initiatives, proactively identify risks, and drive accountability to deliver results on time and within scope.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in top management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or a related field.
  • Statistics and data analysis background preferred
  • Exceptional conceptual problem-solving skills with strong attention to details
  • Aptitude to work with quantitative and qualitative data and drive outputs (PowerPoint, modeling, analytical and presentation-building proficiency)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to details
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work both independently and within teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and collaborate in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent work ethic

This position is exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of New York or California depending on final position location. The pay range for this position is $120,000 – $160,000 per year. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Corient seeks to make reasonable accommodations that enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties when possible.

  • This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

U.S. Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Corient hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Corient will require proof of work authorization.

  • Corient participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the U.S. If E-Verify cannot confirm that you are authorized to work, this employer is required to give you written instructions and an opportunity to contact Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or Social Security Administration (SSA) so you can begin to resolve the issue before the employer can take any action against you, including terminating your employment.
