The role requires working closely with team members to apply modern development frameworks and agile methodologies, ensuring that the solutions delivered are scalable and perform efficiently. The engineer continuously adapts to evolving business requirements, contributing to the enhancement of software products that meet specific organizational needs while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
- Maintain and improve existing software applications to enhance performance and user experience.
- Document technical specifications and development processes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- SSIS, particularly with complex connection configuration, deployment, and management of SSIS Catalog
- T-SQL, including DDL, server objects as code, database, and server configuration
- Analysing SQL server behaviour and identifying root causes of performance issues - essentially full DBA/server management skills
- Database CI/CD experience via ADO (very different challenges to application code)
- Data modelling and relational database design
- Data analysis to understand PPM behaviour and entry points for new integrations
- Experience working in Agile scrum teams
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience in designing and implementing data integration workflows and ETL processes.
- Strong knowledge of database concepts, data warehousing, and data transformation techniques.
- Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex data pipelines and integration solutions.
- Familiarity with agile software development practices and version control systems.
Good to have:
- Understanding reporting/Power BI
- Able to build semantic models
- Knowledge of Moody s risk modeller
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
