Position is contingent based upon contract award.

Purpose and Scope: 

Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions to protect the IT infrastructure. Ensures systems comply with security policies, risk management frameworks, and industry standards. Coordinates with various teams to assess vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, and manage security throughout a system's lifecycle. Position reports to the Contract Site Manager. 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Security Architecture Design: Designing secure systems, networks, and architectures. 
• Vulnerability Assessment: Identifying and assessing security risks and vulnerabilities. 
• Risk Management: Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies. 
• Compliance: Ensuring systems comply with security policies, regulations, and standards. 
• Security Documentation: Creating and maintaining security documentation, such as System Security Plans (SSPs) and Risk Assessment Reports. 
• Security Testing: Planning and conducting security testing to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls. 
• Incident Response: Participating in incident response activities to address security breaches. 
• Collaboration: Working with various teams, including cybersecurity, system administrators, and network engineers. 
• System Lifecycle Management: Integrating security considerations throughout the entire system development lifecycle.
• Interfaces with government officials on diverse issues and problems and works to resolve operational issues and problems.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a combination of academic/technical/military training and at least 3 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
• Must have an active DoD Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI access.  Note: US Citizenship is required for a US Government clearance.
• Must be able to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) access.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required. Working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications are required.
• Position requires routine travel. 
• Must possess an appropriate DoD 8140 certification (CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, GSEC, CISSP, Etc.) matched to assigned duties. Possess a valid state issued driver’s license. 

Compensation & Benefits

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $120,000 - $150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
