Job Description:

HR Division Administrative Assistant

Serves as clerical and administrative support for the Employee Health and Human Resources department.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • At least two years’ experience in acute care hospital setting preferred
  • Familiarity with Epic preferred
  • Basic level secretarial skills
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrates the ability to use a personal computer and various software programs applicable to the position 
  • Demonstrates the ability to operate applicable office equipment
  • Exhibits the ability to deal effectively interdepartmentally & with the public
  • Exhibits the ability to maintain confidentiality, think and act independently with minimal supervision
  • Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES

  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
  • Current and valid Oregon driver’s license
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Basic Medical Terminology preferred

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with OR-OSHA regulations regarding record keeping and reporting preferred
  • One year experience in a medical office setting preferred
  • Customer service experience
  • One year of secretarial science or equivalent preferred
