Position Summary: We’re seeking a Lead Designer in Chennai to tackle complex challenges and craft innovative solutions that transform healthcare. You’ll join our agile R&D team to research, define, and design features for our award-winning electronic health record and practice management products. If you’re a talented, strategic designer motivated to improve the doctor’s visit, the emergency room experience, or life with chronic illness, we want to talk to you.

Education, Experience, & Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, User Experience (UX) or related disciplines
  • Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in UX research and design
  • Strong capability across a range of UX research and design techniques
  • Experience in planning, facilitating, and summarizing user research, including discovery interviews, field studies, in-person or remote evaluative testing and unmoderated studies
  • Understanding of how to work within the agile development process for the design, development, and delivery of software

  • Provide sound rationale for UX recommendations to gain support and commitment
  • Set clear objectives to ensure design solutions achieve the right business and user outcomes

  • Build strong relationships and collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Manage ambiguity, change, and uncertainty while making timely decisions that keep work moving forward
  • Adapt to the changing needs of a dynamic business with flexibility and a willingness to contribute wherever needed to help the team succeed
