Job Summary

The Tech Lead will drive the technical execution of the Enterprise HCM Platform, an enterprise SaaS, AI-driven HR capabilities.

This role leads the design and development of secure, scalable, and cloud-native systems using React, NodeJS, Supabase, and PostgreSQL on the front/data layer with a new NestJS backend (Fastify adapter) for performance and scalability.

The ideal candidate has deep experience implementing role-based access control (RBAC/ABAC) systems, designing secure multi-tenant cloud solutions, and architecting robust database schemas that support complex HR processes across multiple companies and regions.

This role will drive Spec-Driven Development (write/own specs → generate/validate code) and Vibe Coding (tight human+AI loop for code, tests, docs) while enforcing enterprise security, cloud rigor, and first-class database design.

What you’ll do

• Own the spec: drive clear, testable specifications (domain models, APIs, workflows, security rules). Treating specs as the source of truth that generate validations, tests, and docs.
• Vibe Coding with AI: pair with AI to scaffold components, write tests from specs, generate migrations, and refactor safely; keep humans in the loop for reviews and security gates. (OpenAI via Edge Functions is in-stack.)
• Security & roles: architect and enforce RBAC/ABAC, RLS, least privilege, and auditable policies across modules; champion tenant isolation and PII protection.
• Cloud & CI/CD: design reliable environments (staging/prod), IaC, pipelines, observability, backup/restore, HA/DR; enforce environment ownership & auditor-only access patterns.
• Database leadership: design/optimize relational schemas (multi-company, org units, cost centers, compensation, recruiting), indexes, RLS policies, and performant queries under enterprise load.
• Recruiting/HR modules: deliver Phase-aligned scope (Recruiting v1/2, Compensation, Absence, Talent), with AI-enabled pipelines (CV parsing, ranking) and M365 scheduling.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with NodeJS, Cloud Solutions, and Typescript technologies.
• Architect and lead backend development using NestJS (Fastify adapter) ensuring high throughput and low latency while preserving modular architecture, Dependency Injection, and clean API contracts
• Proven track record designing and implementing user-role management systems (RBAC, ABAC) with fine-grained permissions across large organizations.
• Demonstrated experience in cloud architecture and secure application deployment (Supabase, Azure, AWS, or equivalent).
• Strong database design expertise in PostgreSQL—schema design, relational integrity, indexing, and query optimization for large datasets.
• Experience building secure, multi-tenant systems with encryption at rest, data masking, and row-level security.
• Knowledge of Node JS WebAPI, Edge Functions, and microservice-based integrations.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes optional).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities in English and Spanish.

Preferred but not limited Qualifications

• Understanding of AI-enhanced workflows.
• Experience orchestrating communications using n8n or equivalent workflow engines.
• Deep understanding of Cloud Solutions, and AI embeddings.
• Familiarity with Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Vite, and Lucide-based UI design systems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Teams App Development, or WhatsApp Business API.

Knowledge of GDPR compliance frameworks, audit trail systems, and data protection standards.
