Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center is a state-of-the-art, not-for-profit organization that has provided healthcare services to the community since 1998. The facility has 225 licensed beds, nine operating rooms, a labor and delivery suite with Level II NICU, a four-room catheterization lab, a 24-bed intensive care unit, and an ambulatory surgery center with five operating rooms. On site, the busy emergency department treats an average of 65,000 patients each year.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

• Current license as a registered professional nurse
• Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
