Your Role

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, expense report review, and basic reconciliations. The role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to ensure all transactions are aligned with company policies and local tax requirements.

What You Will Do

  • Process and code invoices accurately into the appropriate accounts
  • Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring alignment with company policies and tax requirements
  • Support weekly accounts payable cycles, including cash requirements and payment preparation
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
  • Assist with employee advances and reconcile related balances
  • Perform periodic review of open payables to ensure timely processing
  • Reconcile petty cash and P-Card accounts, including proper documentation backup
  • Support monthly close activities, including basic journal entries and reconciliations
  • Prepare and support monthly cost reports
  • Assist with vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as needed

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (required)
  • 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance role
  • Fully bilingual (English/Spanish), with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with AP processes such as invoice coding, data entry, and account allocation
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to review financial information critically and flag discrepancies
  • Strong sense of accountability and confidentiality
  • Professional communication skills when dealing with vendors and internal teams
