Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to specific requirements. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison between various stakeholders. The position demands continuous coordination with different teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions, while also addressing challenges that arise during the development lifecycle. The engineer plays a pivotal role in driving the project forward by managing priorities and ensuring that the applications meet the desired standards and functionality.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in OpenText Documentum.
- Strong knowledge of content management systems and enterprise document management solutions.
- Experience in application design, development, and configuration within complex software environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to document management platforms.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and working with APIs to connect various enterprise systems.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in OpenText Documentum.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
